About the position

The Benefits Program Manager at Altera, an Intel Company, is responsible for overseeing and managing the US employee benefits programs. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs that align with company objectives and meet employee needs.
  • Oversee the administration of health, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefit plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with benefit vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of benefit plans and vendor performance.
  • Analyze benefit data to identify trends, assess plan performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports on benefit program performance and costs to senior management.
  • Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees about their benefit options and changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding escalated benefit inquiries and issues.
  • Lead benefits-related projects, including annual enrollment, plan renewals, and benefit enhancements.
  • Manage the implementation of new benefit programs or changes to existing programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits management and administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with US employee benefit programs and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of US employee benefit programs and best practices (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external vendors (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (preferred).
  • Experience with benefits administration software is a plus (preferred).
