About the position

The Channel Digital Platforms marketing manager will support the US in developing omnichannel strategies and tactical plans across our emerging digital platforms that primarily support the Petcare and Equine portfolios. This position requires a strong analytical skill set within a B-to-B-to-C environment. The marketing manager will identify opportunities within these platforms through performance analytics and reporting tools, and recommendations aligned with Zoetis growth objectives. The role involves significant interaction and collaboration with key Channel and Petcare and Equine marketing colleagues, as well as direct partnership with these emerging platforms. Additionally, the position offers opportunities to work with and participate in several core marketing teams. The marketing manager will report to the US Channel Marketing and Operations Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute omnichannel marketing strategies to meet Zoetis growth/financial objectives.
  • Enhance and leverage our emerging platforms to implement cohesive strategies, plans and tactics that align with our overall business strategies and plans.
  • Work with brand and marketing teams on strategic planning and program delivery to create growth for key focus products.
  • Partner with global market research to identify research opportunities to better understand future state of the business; leverage insights into scenario and operating planning process.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in executing Cross Functional Planning meetings that leads to the development of the Channel Operation Planning process - both the 1 year and 5-year strategic plan.
  • Develop and coordinate new campaign launches and ensure adoption, implementation, execution and metrics are established, as well as manage and oversee creative agency relationship.
  • Partner directly with marketing leadership (MLT) as the emerging platform representative, providing strategic guidance and targeted program planning.
  • Participate in monthly operations calls to ensure open communication and dialogue of activities and field force updates.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to create new hire training modules around these platforms and partners.
  • Lead the development, coordination and presentation of quarterly business reviews.
  • In partnership with US Channel Marketing leader assist in business reviews with internal HQ stakeholders such as MLT, SLT and USLT.
  • Work with US Channel and relevant BUs on financial analysis and designated contractual agreements.
  • Align with Demand Planning and marketing team on forecasting Zoetis brands across these platforms.
  • Develop appropriate KPI/metrics for evaluation of strategies against goals.
  • Assist in development of marketing metrics dashboard.
  • Leverage market research reports, insights and trends in developing actionable plans that will drive growth.
  • Review monthly sales and financial reports focusing on trends, emphasis products, potential focus areas and marketing opportunities.
  • Review Emerging platform specific reports focusing on sales and doses to leverage for growth opportunities.
  • Develop and prepare quarterly business and performance updates/meetings for internal Zoetis teams, including leadership team meetings.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of omni-channel marketing experience required.
  • 3-5 years of promotion marketing experience preferred.
  • Marketing/Business Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders; influence/negotiation and relationship management capabilities critical.
  • Proven ability to facilitate open discussion among key stakeholders and negotiate and implement mutually agreed upon plans.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team structure and to maintain strong cross functional and cross team ties.
  • Well organized with the ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple demands with quick turnaround.
