About the position

The Operations Analyst will support the US Commercial Risk team by developing and managing reporting processes that enhance operational efficiency and resource allocation. This role is crucial for optimizing operations and driving transformation initiatives within the organization, ensuring that the team meets its objectives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create new automated reporting and improve existing automated processes.
  • Execute ongoing weekly/monthly/quarterly report ownership reliably.
  • Prepare meeting support material and attend key meetings to assist leaders in staying organized.
  • Assist in managing the appropriate allocation of resources in US practice groups.
  • Drive key change and transformation initiatives identified by senior management.
  • Support the implementation of operational objectives agreed to by Global CRS Leadership.
  • Develop a strong Aon IQ to increase credibility and effectiveness when engaging with leaders.
  • Understand the importance of deadlines and own the process to conclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Strong ability to work closely with various cross-functional groups, specifically with Sub region leaders, Solution Line Leaders, Industry Leaders and Regional Sales Operations Team.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to extract, cleanse, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent Excel skills; SQL proficiency is a strong plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and relationship skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM).
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
