Responsibilities include adhering to the provided schedule, maintaining customer service standards, and assisting with groundskeeping duties such as weed trimming and mowing when required. The custodian must promptly report any issues to the Custodial Supervisor and maintain excellent relationships with all community partners and staff members. After receiving proper training, the custodian will operate essential cleaning equipment, including automatic floor scrubbers and power vacuums. The role also involves completing projects under tight deadlines, participating in various meetings and workshops, and maintaining accurate time records. The custodian is expected to arrive at work on time, prepared, and with a positive attitude, while adhering to NW Works' policies and standards for dress and grooming. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary, reflecting the dynamic nature of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, oversee, and complete all tasks in collaboration with the US Customs VA Custodial Supervisor.
  • Follow the provided schedule and adhere to instructions from the Custodial Supervisor.
  • Maintain high quality and customer service standards.
  • Assist with groundskeeping responsibilities as assigned, including weed trimming and mowing.
  • Notify the US Customs Custodial Supervisor immediately of any problems.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with vendors and community partners.
  • Operate primary cleaning equipment after proper training, such as automatic floor scrubbers and power vacuums.
  • Complete projects under tight deadlines with assistance from the Custodial Supervisor.
  • Participate in meetings, retreats, workshops, and conferences as required.
  • Arrive at work on time, prepared, and with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain accurate time records and submit paperwork by established deadlines.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of NW Works.
  • Represent agency standards for dress, grooming, and demeanor.
  • Accept and perform other duties as required.
