As the Digital Commerce (dCom) Media Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital commerce media strategies to increase online sales, enhance brand visibility, and embed dCom media into our broader Integrated Marketing model. Reporting directly to the US Integrated Marketing & Media Lead, you will collaborate cross-functionally with US brand and shopper marketing, sales, consumer experience teams, liaise with global counterparts, and act as lead of our commerce media agency partners. This role will be the lead of our Commerce Media COE, which means maintaining relationships with retail partners, integrating ecommerce strategy into our brands' Owned-Paid-Earned full funnel marketing strategies, overseeing investment retail workstreams, and developing and implementing best practices across the team. You will be the connector across the internal and agency teams and will be responsible for driving and defining Haleon's future vision for the role of dCom media to deliver seamless end-to-end brand experiences for our consumers. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead digital commerce media strategy, driving both eCommerce sales and shaping the role of broader commerce media's influence on brand building and overall sales. Utilize data analytics and market insights to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the digital commerce landscape, and adjust strategies accordingly, with keen understanding of marketing mix modeling and advanced capabilities of RMN leaders in the marketplace (e.g. AMC, Luminate). Drive long-term vision for commerce media in our marketing approach, defining and driving the Haleon unified commerce experience across paid, owned, earned activities. Interrogate existing processes and models for managing the cross-functional ways of working to help shape the optimal approach to integrating dCom media and the various funding sources and campaign management models more efficiently. Collaborate with Performance Marketing to develop testing and deliver scalable learnings grounded in strategic business challenges; support the Connected Social strategy team in advancing our holistic approach to optimizing the social experience to drive conversion. Oversee our dCom media agency partners, ensuring they are delivering strategic thought leadership and executional excellence. Provide leadership in digital commerce education and upskilling for our internal colleagues, including mentoring and guiding the broader media team on dCom best practices. Establish and maintain relationships with key digital commerce partners, platforms, and vendors to drive mutual growth opportunities, including leading RMN negotiations and Joint Business Partnerships. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in digital media, including expertise in digital commerce, with specific Amazon experience preferred
  • Proven success in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud and Luminate
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaborative and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects in a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and innovations
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of varied experience and familiarity with the digital commerce landscape
