About the position

The US East Coast Sales Manager at Chromavis Fareva will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth within the US market. This role involves satisfying customer needs, responding to requests, and identifying new business opportunities. The position requires close collaboration with various departments and entails significant client interaction, negotiation, and strategic planning to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable business growth within the US market.
  • Manage client interactions and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Present products tailored to customer needs with support from marketing teams.
  • Obtain briefs from clients and select appropriate formulations.
  • Issue initial price offers and negotiate pricing for new projects.
  • Negotiate contracts with the support of the legal department.
  • Identify business opportunities and assess potential sales revenue.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and client portfolios.
  • Provide concrete action plans to management on achieving targets.
  • Initiate and manage contracts with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Define budget and strategy for assigned customers.
  • Set priorities with designated project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Travel for 50%-70% of working time depending on assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics or a related discipline.
  • At least five years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the cosmetic industry.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French or another foreign language is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the Office package and main IT systems.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial and sales acumen.
  • Effective workload planning and ability to manage stress in a dynamic environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage people effectively.
