About the position

The ETF Product Developer role at BlackRock involves managing the product development pipeline for iShares, focusing on enhancing existing products and creating new ETF processes. The position requires collaboration with various internal and external teams to ensure the successful launch and improvement of ETF products, while also addressing market demands and operational risks.

Responsibilities

• Project manage product changes and the launch of new ETFs
• Solve problems, build solutions and drive forward strategic priorities
• Learn quickly and grasp technical content, communicating effectively with a broad set of partners
• Maintain a high degree of organization and attention to detail, prioritizing multiple initiatives to meet competing timelines
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities that lower the risk of errors and increase efficiency
• Build strong relationships across the organization by listening to partner teams and delivering for the firm
• Develop a deep understanding of existing ETF products and opportunities for enhancement

Requirements

• Experience in financial services including ETF product development, investment operations or risk management
• Experience in leading projects and building relationships with partners
• High intellectual curiosity and understanding of different asset classes, including equity, fixed income and commodities
• Detail and outcome oriented with strong planning, project management and organizational skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to function well under time pressure
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong business judgment and decision-making with integrity and emotional intelligence
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
