About the position

As a US Government Sales Manager within Apple's US Enterprise organization, you will lead a team focused on developing and executing go-to-market strategies for Apple's public sector business. This role is pivotal in driving growth and innovation in the government segment, impacting Apple's federal, state, and local government business. You will collaborate cross-functionally, mentor team members, and identify new business opportunities to enhance customer experiences and transform the way people work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for Apple's go-to-market strategy for the US Government and public sector business.
  • Provide support and encouragement to team members, setting individual and team goals, and delivering feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to coordinate use cases and sales plans for the public sector segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities that empower employees and enhance customer experiences.
  • Refine and innovate strategy based on feedback from regional teams and customers.
  • Ensure key solution partners are identified and ready to deliver by collaborating with partner management teams.
  • Prioritize use cases and sales plays based on feedback and ensure alignment on assets and strategies.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of sales, strategy, and/or business transformation experience, particularly in the government segment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building, leading, and developing an inclusive team with performance management and coaching.
  • Deep understanding of the government market, including federal and state/local government.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to transform data into actionable insights.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading a remote/geographically dispersed team.
