About the position

As a Lead Advanced Field Service Technician at Aerospace Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization by leveraging your technical expertise in electrical and electronic technologies. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and offers a pay range of $27 - $30 per hour on a W2 basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, fabrication, and data acquisition, which will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of various projects within the company. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing industry-standard processes related to low-speed data acquisition. Your knowledge of various types of sensors, including accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and strain gauges, will be vital in performing your duties effectively. Additionally, you will utilize your skills in pressure and temperature systems, frequency counters, and voltage data acquisition systems to support manufacturing processes in a test environment. The Lead Advanced Field Service Technician will also be expected to demonstrate excellent planning, execution, and project management skills. You will take the initiative to complete tasks proactively, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the required specifications. Your ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers will be essential in defining requirements and providing necessary support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization by leveraging technical expertise in electrical and electronic technologies.
  • Implement industry-standard processes related to low-speed data acquisition.
  • Utilize knowledge of various types of sensors, including accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and strain gauges.
  • Work with pressure and temperature systems, frequency counters, and voltage data acquisition systems.
  • Demonstrate cable fabrication skills, including soldering and cable crimping.
  • Execute manufacturing processes in a test environment effectively.
  • Exhibit excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to define requirements and provide support.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Technologies or 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Understanding of data acquisition products and industry standard processes.
  • Specialization in Low Speed Data Acquisition with knowledge of various types of sensors.
  • Knowledge in using pressure and temperature systems, frequency counters, and voltage data acquisition systems.
  • Proficiency in LINUX and Microsoft Office.
  • Cable fabrication skills including soldering and cable crimping.
  • Experience working with manufacturing processes in a test environment.
  • Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
