About the position

The US Marketing Director, Public Sector is a strategic role responsible for defining and executing the marketing and communications strategy for the public sector, including state, local, and education markets. The primary goal is to measurably increase revenue contribution through effective marketing campaigns and communication strategies that enhance awareness and preference for Schneider Electric's solutions among key decision-makers and influencers. This position requires a deep understanding of customer insights and competitive feedback to drive demand-generation campaigns and foster customer engagement, loyalty, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Create a segment marketing strategy to support the strategic annual growth plan and update quarterly.
  • Develop Unique Value Proposition and positioning in prioritized end-markets to grow and maintain customer relationships.
  • Partner with Channel and Segment teams, local market intelligence, and government relations to define marketing programs for Public Sector customers.
  • Develop public affairs communications strategy to drive engagement and preference for Schneider Electric.
  • Manage Voice of Customer programs to define buying behaviors and market trends.
  • Own and manage the marketing promotional budget.
  • Ensure optimized integrated marketing mix to align with commercial market segments.
  • Define, monitor, and manage key performance indicators and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution, particularly in the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of demand-generation campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to translate customer insights and competitive feedback into actionable marketing plans.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and performance metrics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in brand management and lead generation within the technology or finance sectors.
  • Familiarity with public affairs communications and government relations.
