About the position

The US Medical Operations Manager - Vaccines at Sanofi is responsible for overseeing the medical operations related to vaccines, including budget management, governance, and project management. This role involves analyzing business gaps, identifying transformative solutions, and executing innovative plans to enhance operational efficiency. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and to support the company's mission of advancing public health through immunization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Sanofi Vaccines Medical operations, budget, governance, and digital project management.
  • Lead strategic budget management by developing forecasting models and tracking financial targets.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend strategies to optimize budget performance.
  • Oversee internal control, audit, and inspection readiness, developing remediation plans as needed.
  • Act as focal point for local deployment of digital tools to support medical activities.
  • Develop strategies for continuous process improvement to support business objectives.
  • Manage strategic knowledge-sharing processes to enhance collaboration across teams.
  • Lead the procurement-to-payment process, ensuring compliance and efficiency in grants and donations management.
  • Establish and execute a plan to transition appropriate work to the SBO team and monitor implementation.
  • Represent Sanofi Vaccines Medical in internal operational excellence task forces.

Requirements

  • Experience in medical operations management or related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business gaps and develop solutions.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or vaccine industry.
