Responsibilities
* Ensure all payroll processes adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws and wage and hour laws;
* Oversee the accurate and timely execution of payroll, including regular and off-cycle runs;
* Conduct regular audits and ensuring compliance and preparing detailed reports for management;
* Identify areas for improving payroll processes to enhance compliance and efficiency;
* Manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance on compliance matters;
* Ensure the payroll system is configured to comply with all regulatory requirement;
* Develop and update payroll policies and procedures, ensuring they are clearly communicated and consistently applied for compliance purpose;
* Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to payroll, including fraud prevention and data security.
