About the position

The US Regional/International Territory Sales Manager for the Foodservice Division at Winston Industries LLC is responsible for managing sales and account relationships with key US accounts and international markets. This role involves significant interaction with franchisees, corporate teams, and distribution partners, focusing on driving sales and providing support to manufacturing representatives and industry consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary or restaurant operations background, transitioning into sales, and will be expected to travel approximately 30-50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with accounts and solicit orders through cold calls, canvassing, lead follow-up, and networking.
  • Support and manage external distribution partnerships through frequent communication and training.
  • Expand existing relationships with focus market segments and liaise with regional franchisee and corporate personnel.
  • Develop product and operational recommendations to prospective customers based on pricing and performance knowledge.
  • Train and demonstrate Winston products in seminars and open houses.
  • Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Utilize CRM for measuring and managing sales activity against goals.
  • Achieve sales goals while maintaining budgetary compliance.
  • Prepare business plans and budget projections for the sales department.
  • Develop product pricing recommendations to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Complete market and competitive analysis and gather favorable testimonials.
  • Communicate delivery dates with customers and distribution networks based on production and logistics.
  • Participate in trade associations to establish a network of prospective customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the foodservice industry, including sales experience with National/Key Accounts or equipment.
  • Experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Manufacturer's Representative.
  • Operations and/or Engineering experience within a Top 20 Restaurant Chain.
  • Strong ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems effectively.
  • Experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL Reporting Services, and MRP/ERP systems.
