About the position

The US Risk Consulting Regional Growth Leader at Aon Corporation is a senior-level position focused on driving business development and growth for the Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) practice. This role involves articulating the value propositions of AGRC's risk consulting solutions, building relationships within the Aon network, and developing impactful responses to RFPs. The position requires a strategic approach to managing regional growth opportunities and supporting broader consulting teams in delivering tailored solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and articulate AGRC's value propositions across core risk consulting solution lines and industry specialties.
  • Conduct diagnostic loss analyses and qualitative reviews to identify trends and financial improvement impacts for clients.
  • Build relationships within the Aon network, including market-level account executives, producers, and regional leaders.
  • Develop and deliver impactful and differentiating RFP responses, both offensive and defensive.
  • Present propositions in person or virtually to support RFP responses.
  • Lead and coordinate AGRC information sessions within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies at both the office and regional levels that support CRS and AGRC growth goals.
  • Manage regional level penetration opportunities on the current book of business and appropriate sales campaigns.
  • Support broader consulting teams in preparing Statements of Work and/or proposals articulating solutions and deliverable work products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ten or more years of experience in risk management and insurance consultation.
  • Prior sales and business development experience with evidence of success and revenue growth.
  • Technical skills in addressing various property and casualty risk consulting services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management tools.
  • Project management experience with an understanding of risk management consulting philosophies.
  • Ability to interpret various data to create client-facing strategic and tactical improvement plans.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
