Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of customer information and sales activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the customer's sales and operation team by understanding their business and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay informed about competition and industry trends that may affect JUSDA SCM's value proposition.
  • Share market trends and benchmarking information with customers to validate their competitive position.
  • Adapt strategies based on changing customer needs and maintain flexibility.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound order processing lead times in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Communicate account activities effectively across JUSDA SCM using various communication methods.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through business relationship development and consistent communication of value.
  • Analyze and communicate savings and cost/service tradeoff areas to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to support JUSDA SCM's differentiation in their business model.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage JUSDA's services to maximize value for customers.
  • Define continuous improvements that drive cost savings and productivity for customers and JUSDA SCM.
  • Plan and source necessary resources to manage overall business goals effectively.
  • Clearly define and communicate roles and responsibilities within the account management team.
  • Organize activities across multiple JUSDA SCM functional teams for customer benefit.
  • Utilize internal networks to exchange ideas and support account management initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Demonstrated credibility and integrity to command respect and trust from key individuals in customer organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to generate and implement creative solutions to problems.
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating business reviews and customer meetings.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a track record of setting clear expectations and objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in account management and using CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of freight operations.
