About the position

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team, focusing on the development of complex e-Learning programs and training materials for various delivery modalities. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong instructional design skills, particularly in video and storyline development, to create engaging and effective training solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of instructional design theory to design course content, collaborating with subject matter experts, management, trainers, and e-Learning specialists.
• Develop complex e-Learning programs and applications using tools like Storyline, Vyond, and WellSaid.
• Create new training programs from scratch, conducting formal analyses of training needs as required.
• Consult with managers and team members to develop training curriculum, identifying individual program goals and overall objectives.
• Develop curriculum plans to support employee performance development.
• Incorporate stakeholder input into learning design and roadmap, effectively negotiating tradeoffs based on business value.
• Apply knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, and other factors.
• Design evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness and determine if desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills to convey ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences.
• Possess strong analytical, project management, writing, and presentation skills.
• Present recommendations confidently to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Articulate, Adobe, Vyond, and Camtasia.
• Strong instructional design, eLearning, and video skills, with a focus on video and storyline development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Broad knowledge of instructional technologies and proficiency in advanced use of e-Learning tools.
