About the position

The position focuses on leading process improvement initiatives within a Distribution Center, utilizing various tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma and root cause analysis to eliminate quality losses and deviations. The role involves managing project execution, supporting area managers, and developing performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the position emphasizes building relationships with stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ethical standards within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement tools and methods to eliminate quality losses in the Distribution Center.
  • Deliver expected results through KPI analysis and loss elimination.
  • Assist with the review and response of quality-focused process improvement projects.
  • Compile and submit deviations to existing playbooks and provide input on project ideation.
  • Assist with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology.
  • Manage project execution of top quality losses in the functional area.
  • Support Department Managers with WPS programs and KPI improvements.
  • Lead quality-related savings projects to reduce process loss.
  • Promote and support company policies and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices and action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control and Quality KPIs.
