About the position

This position is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives within a Distribution Center, focusing on eliminating quality losses and deviations through the application of various methodologies such as Six Sigma and root cause analysis. The role involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), managing quality-related projects, and supporting the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence program. The individual will work closely with area managers to enhance process capabilities and ensure compliance with company policies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and associate development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement tools and methods to eliminate quality losses in the Distribution Center.
  • Deliver expected results through KPI analysis and loss elimination.
  • Assist in reviewing and responding to quality-focused process improvement projects.
  • Compile and submit deviations to existing playbooks and provide input on project ideation.
  • Manage project execution of top quality losses in the functional area.
  • Support Department Managers with WPS programs and KPI improvements.
  • Promote and support company policies and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices and action plans.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control and Quality KPIs.
