The individual will be responsible for ensuring data quality, organizing processes for analysis, and implementing technology changes across various processes. Knowledge of environmental policies and procedures is essential, as the role includes evaluating pollution control measures, supporting regulatory visits, and preparing audit reports. The candidate will also need to articulate operational functions, clarify departmental roles, and identify primary operational functions within the organization. In terms of employee health and safety, the role requires participation in OSHA inspections, maintaining health and safety records, and monitoring facilities for safety hazards. The individual will also be involved in asset protection, recognizing security breaches, and implementing access control procedures. Training delivery is another key aspect, where the candidate will support instructors and manage feedback from training participants. Risk management responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, documenting processes, and evaluating employee risk awareness. The position also emphasizes process improvement, where the candidate will define critical workflows, identify process problems, and implement methods for enhancing efficiency. Influential communication skills are necessary to effectively convey messages and build professional networks. Knowledge of transportation operations, including compliance with laws and regulations, is also required. Responsibilities

  • Articulates the levers that influence data and ensures data quality.
  • Organizes processes for analysis and develops technology changes across multiple processes.
  • Operates tools for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution and supports regulatory visits.
  • Prepares audit reports for management review and participates in evaluating pollution control.
  • Assists in integrating environmental considerations into process design and interprets compliance status reports.
  • Explains operational functions and clarifies departmental roles relevant to enterprise strategy.
  • Identifies primary operational functions and understands Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Owns the delivery of project activities and supports process updates and changes.
  • Participates in OSHA inspections and maintains health and safety records according to guidelines.
  • Works with tools for theft prevention and investigates security breaches.
  • Supports training programs and manages feedback from training participants.
  • Produces and interprets risk assessment reports and conducts risk assessments.
  • Defines critical workflows and implements methods for process improvement.
  • Communicates effectively and builds professional networks to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protection within Supply Chain or Retail.
  • Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 or more degreed certifications (Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications, Certified Security Professional).
  • 2 or more years of investigative experience or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
