About the position

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on policies and procedures.
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective actions.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties and monitoring performance.
  • Manage maintenance department daily operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and track expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget.
  • Model Walmart values and foster a culture of accountability and integrity.
  • Act as a servant leader and support team development.
  • Encourage curiosity and innovation within the team.
  • Deliver expected business results while prioritizing customer needs.
  • Adopt a holistic perspective in strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in an Industrial related field and 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field.
  • 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment.
  • 2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months leading a work or project team.
  • 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment.
