About the position

In this role, you will manage the financial aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring that expenses and capital expenditures are monitored and tracked against the budget. You will be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards by ensuring that associates are trained on Supply Chain and company policies, standards, and procedures. This includes monitoring compliance and distributing necessary documentation. You will demonstrate a solid working knowledge of maintenance procedures to assist associates in conducting high-quality maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to company policies related to maintenance operations. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and responding to customer, compliance, and operational issues related to maintenance operations, taking proactive steps to prevent recurrence. You will need to demonstrate a broad technical understanding of equipment systems and performance monitoring techniques, supporting the improvement of existing processes and standards for specific equipment types. Engaging and empowering associates will be key, as you will coordinate workloads, monitor performance, and provide feedback while identifying training and development needs. As a Maintenance Area Manager, you will collaborate with other managers to optimize service delivery and ensure routine equipment inspections and maintenance are performed according to established processes. You will maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, confirm parts inventory logs, and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders. Your role will also involve responding to incident alarms, conducting triage as required, and utilizing Continuous Improvement Tools for Maintenance and Reliability Performance Monitoring. You will be expected to eliminate breakdowns through root cause analysis and component failure analysis, ensuring a high level of operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial aspects of maintenance operations by monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Supply Chain and company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures and distribute necessary documentation.
  • Demonstrate and communicate solid working knowledge of maintenance procedures to help associates conduct high-quality maintenance operations.
  • Identify and appropriately respond to customer, compliance, and operational issues related to maintenance operations.
  • Support improvement of existing processes and standards for specific equipment types by recognizing and escalating possible issues.
  • Engage, enable, and empower associates by coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Utilize strategic leadership skills to develop maintenance associates' capabilities and improve work processes.
  • Collaborate with other Maintenance Area Managers to determine capacity and ensure optimization of service delivery.
  • Ensure performance of routine equipment inspection and maintenance of warehouse equipment in accordance with established processes and programs.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and monitor compliance with state and federal regulations relating to maintenance operations.
  • Confirm parts inventory logs and reports per standard and established templates.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to support the implementation of business solutions.
  • Respond to incident alarms and determine appropriate course of action for straightforward incidents.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement Tools for Maintenance and Reliability Performance Monitoring and KPI Improvement.

Requirements
