(USA) Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC

About the position

The Asset Protection Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility by monitoring access control, conducting audits, and supporting health and safety compliance. This position requires collaboration with facility management and the implementation of asset protection policies and procedures. The associate will also engage in data analysis and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support facility security staff and monitor access control equipment.
• Conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits and reviews.
• Create audit reports and analyze claims related to worker's compensation.
• Assist in the implementation of OSHA guidelines and address employee health and safety issues.
• Gather and interpret data to create reports and suggest automation tasks.
• Support training programs and maintain training delivery best practices.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analysis for incidents.
• Promote environmental issues and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year's work experience in criminal justice, loss prevention, safety, compliance, or security-related field.
• Knowledge of asset protection policies and environmental health and safety regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention, or safety compliance.
