About the position

The position is responsible for driving sales and ensuring effective merchandise presentation while leading and developing teams. The role involves overseeing store operations, managing customer service initiatives, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The individual will also be responsible for training associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including pricing, inventory levels, and cleanliness.
  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and providing feedback to associates.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring and mentoring.
  • Control unexplained loss of merchandise and improve profitability by setting performance goals.
  • Conduct operational and pre-inventory reviews and monitor deficiency trends.
  • Detect, deter, investigate, and resolve violations of company policies and criminal activities.
  • Monitor safety and risk controls within the facility and implement safety programs.
  • Manage facility-level training and execution of asset protection and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • Completion of 2 years of college or 1 year's experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year's experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, or loss prevention in a multi-department environment.
  • 2 years' experience in asset protection or a related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • Certification in an asset protection related field.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
  • Investigative experience.
