About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams within a retail environment, focusing on effective communication, customer service, financial performance, and compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes training associates, driving sales, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities selling firearms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
