About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams within a retail environment, focusing on effective communication, customer service, financial performance, and compliance with company policies. The role requires active engagement with associates, providing training and feedback, and driving initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations and company direction.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
