About the position

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts effectively.
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance for implementing business solutions.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer complaints.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales goals.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
  • Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
