As part of our Finance Consulting team, you will be at the forefront of this dynamic service line, driving change and delivering solutions that revolutionize business operations. You will assist our clients in their transformation and innovation efforts, driving growth, reducing costs, and managing risks proactively. As a staff consultant, you will help deliver strategic advisory and consulting services to CFOs and finance organizations, providing a unique business perspective on how to improve, evolve, or transform the finance function. Your efforts could include helping finance leaders reduce their cost base, increasing the efficiency and quality of information, or shifting emphasis from transactional to strategic finance activities to empower growth and enhance profitability. You will assist our clients across a range of finance and risk capabilities, which include the overall transformation of the Finance function, optimization of regulatory reporting, improvement of financial planning and analysis processes, transformation of finance operations, and enhancement of procurement processes. Our professionals are focused on three different industry sectors: the Financial Services Organization (FSO), which serves leading investment banks, retail and commercial banks, insurers, and investment managers; the Government and Public Sector (GPS), which serves federal clients, state and local agencies, and higher education institutions; and the National Consulting practice, which serves clients across various industries including advanced manufacturing, power and utilities, health sciences, consumer, and technology, media, and entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in the overall transformation of the Finance function.
  • Optimize regulatory reporting, including regulatory exam readiness.
  • Improve financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
  • Transform finance operations and controller-related functions.
  • Enhance procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergrad or master's degree in finance, information systems, business, or a relevant discipline, supported by a strong academic record.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interactions with team members and clients.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong academic background in business and technology disciplines.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong foundation in finance and information systems to bridge the gap between financial acumen and technological expertise.
  • Basic understanding of AI and familiarity with prompt logic and data needs to drive AI modeling.
