About the position

The EY Launch Internship is designed for college students who are two years or more from graduation, providing a unique opportunity to explore a career in professional services. As a Core & CPA Track intern, you will engage with various EY businesses and services that align with your academic pursuits and professional aspirations. This internship aims to support and develop underrepresented groups within the professional services industry, allowing interns to build relationships and define their professional identities. During your internship, you will work on real business challenges, assisting client teams in identifying and resolving complex issues. This may involve recognizing potential audit issues, meeting intricate tax obligations, utilizing proper information systems, or establishing and maintaining effective processes, risk, and control environments. Each intern's experience will be tailored, but you can expect to receive guidance and support throughout your journey, helping you understand expectations and access the necessary learning and coaching to become a transformative leader. The program emphasizes the importance of building a diverse and inclusive culture, encouraging interns to value differences and embrace a variety of experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop a network of colleagues and mentors who can influence your career trajectory, while also defining and communicating your vision for future career opportunities. Requirements

  • College freshman, sophomore or junior status
  • An excellent academic record in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business, Finance, Economics or a related subject
  • Ability to travel locally to the EY office, client and/or third-party sites

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong preference for affiliation in organizations committed to racial diversity and inclusiveness for underrepresented groups
  • A proven history of leadership, such as in a campus club or society
  • A genuine interest in a professional services career
  • Desire and educational requirements to pursue a relevant certification (CPA, CISA, etc.)
