About the position

As a Data Scientist III on the Data & Customer Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing advanced data science and AI solutions that drive business impact across multiple merchant, catalog, and assortment touchpoints. This role focuses on enhancing the merchant, catalog, and assortment experience by leveraging data to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiencies. It is an individual contributor position that requires onsite work in Bentonville, Arkansas, and reports to the Director of Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance customer experience.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in data science or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in building highly scalable Big Data solutions and ETL ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and the use and deployment of LLMs.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
