In this role, you will have the opportunity to evolve Marketing's strategic operations by providing leadership in planning, projecting, and measuring performance. You will do this by being an expert in customer, channel, business, and competitor insights to strengthen how Marketing supports Walmart's Business & Enterprise strategy. You will create a discipline that enables Marketing to implement strategies to deliver our long-term goals. This position requires a leader who thrives in building new skills and disciplines, is energized by understanding the drivers of great Marketing performance, and understands the need to balance short- and long-term strategies. You will be expected to drive strategic implementation by partnering across the Marketing organization to execute long-range and short-term goals through data analysis, goal setting, evaluation, and progress monitoring. You will also elevate storytelling and narrative by aiding in shaping the narrative of how Marketing's outcomes are delivering for the business and brand. This involves demonstrating the ability to understand complex data and translating it into insights and actions to drive performance. Additionally, you will lead process development and change management by identifying and developing cross-functional processes that enable greater simplicity in work and optimize outcomes. You will implement strategies to help teams prepare for change, create a vision, and implement with clarity, then analyze and adjust in real-time. This role is crucial in ensuring resolution of critical issues that impede progress and limit the team's ability to streamline, simplify, or work smarter.
