About the position

The position involves leading the development and management of multiple projects and programs within Walmart, focusing on operational expertise to enhance project initiatives. The role requires aligning business strategies with support segment strategies, managing resources, and ensuring a positive associate and customer experience. The individual will also be responsible for implementing leadership methodologies, improving operational processes, and fostering a culture of integrity and ethics within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of multiple projects and programs utilizing operations expertise.
  • Manages alignment of business initiatives with support segment strategy.
  • Assesses capacity and resources, adjusting prioritization and assignments based on strategy.
  • Ensures support segment expertise is incorporated into business initiatives.
  • Designs initiative operationalization within support segment frameworks.
  • Provides guidance to ensure target associate and customer experience is represented throughout the portfolio.
  • Evaluates key business components to assess current performance standards.
  • Identifies areas of improvement and develops improvement solutions.
  • Consults with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on improvement solutions.
  • Communicates changes and solutions to key stakeholders to gain buy-in.
  • Analyzes business objectives and customer needs to develop and implement strategies.
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Cultivates an environment of respect and adherence to company standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Develops internal and external partnerships to maximize achievement of business goals.
  • Models Walmart values to foster culture and community commitment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Logistics Supply Chain, Communications, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area, or 7 years' experience in the same fields without a degree.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.
