About the position

The Director, Safety Programs is responsible for the integration of safety solutions across key products and initiatives, focusing on developing partnerships, resource procurement, and implementing safety data signals into daily processes. This role involves leading cross-functional collaborations, ensuring the successful execution of safety business cases, and driving the operationalization of safety signals within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of end-to-end partnerships to operationalize prioritized safety signals into key products.
  • Facilitate ideation and discovery sessions with potential partners for safety solutions integration.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align safety signals with product objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration and implementation of designated use cases for safety solutions.
  • Identify and secure necessary resources for the development of safety solutions.
  • Create procurement plans to empower leaders in resource decision-making.
  • Monitor resource utilization for optimal deployment and efficiency.
  • Drive the execution of prioritized safety business cases for timely implementation.
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines for safety business cases.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for successful delivery of safety business cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal, occupational health and safety, communications, or related area.
  • 5 years' experience in safety management or program management.
  • 3 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Experience in Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, or Finance, including at least 2 years' experience in a role requiring strategy development.
