Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring them.
  • Assign duties and set clear expectations for associates.
  • Provide recognition and communicate expectations consistently and effectively.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion awareness among associates.
  • Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in designated business area.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales goals.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required for facilities that sell firearms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supervising Associates - 20+ years of experience preferred.
