About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams in a retail environment, focusing on exceptional customer service, financial performance, and operational excellence. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with associates at all levels, implementing business solutions, and driving company change initiatives. The individual will also be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring associates while ensuring compliance with company policies and promoting diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
