In this leadership role, you will be responsible for effectively leading and developing teams by employing a hands-on approach that includes teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. You will tour stores to provide constructive feedback, communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels regarding store operations, and utilize technology to support business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Your role will also involve introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations, and guiding teams in implementing business solutions while effectively communicating business objectives. You will model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by adhering to the One Best Way (OBW) service model. This includes managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies. You will provide leadership in process improvement to ensure a high-quality customer experience, driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow. As a leader, you will provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring them. You will assign duties, set clear expectations, and recognize associate contributions while ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating job-related activities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs. You will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
