About the position

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for effectively leading and developing teams by employing various strategies such as teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. You will tour stores to provide constructive feedback, communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels regarding store operations, and utilize technology to support business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Your role will also involve introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations, and guiding teams in implementing business solutions while effectively communicating business objectives. You will model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by adhering to the One Best Way (OBW) service model. This includes managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies. You will also provide leadership in process improvement to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area will be a key responsibility. This includes reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow. You will develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals for your business area. As a leader, you will provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring them. You will assign duties, set clear expectations, and recognize associate contributions while ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness. Your role will also involve coordinating job-related activities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs. Compliance with company policies and procedures is essential, and you will support the company’s mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and providing guidance on business processes. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 years of college education; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training may be required for facilities selling firearms.
  • Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.
