In this leadership role, you will be responsible for effectively leading and developing teams by employing a hands-on approach that includes teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. You will tour stores to provide constructive feedback, communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels regarding store operations, and utilize technology to support business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Your role will also involve introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations, and guiding teams in implementing business solutions while effectively communicating business objectives. You will model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by adhering to the One Best Way (OBW) service model. This includes managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies. You will provide leadership in process improvement to ensure a high-quality customer experience, driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and controlling expenses to align with sales. Your responsibilities will also include supervising and developing hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring. You will assign duties, set clear expectations, and provide recognition to associates while ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness. You will coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and identifying improvement opportunities. Compliance with company policies and procedures is essential, and you will implement action plans to uphold the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
