About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Responsibilities include touring stores and providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, and introducing and leading company change efforts. The role also emphasizes exceptional customer service standards, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs and complaints are successfully resolved. Additionally, the position drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit and Loss statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation. The role includes supervising and developing hourly associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a culture of belonging and diversity. The position requires maintaining high standards of integrity and ethics while delivering results and making decisions based on data insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
• Tour stores and provide feedback to associates.
• Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
• Introduce and lead company change efforts.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
• Manage customer service initiatives and ensure customer needs are resolved.
• Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit and Loss statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission and values.
• Build high-performing teams and create a culture of belonging.

Requirements

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
• Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
