About the position

The GM Coach position is responsible for leading and developing store teams, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving financial performance, and managing operational processes. This role involves training associates, implementing business solutions, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. The GM Coach will also oversee compliance with company policies and support various initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
• Models exceptional customer service standards and manages customer service initiatives.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
• Coordinates job-related activities and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company mission and values.

Requirements

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (if applicable).
• Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership.
• Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
