About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams in a retail environment, focusing on exceptional customer service, financial performance, and operational excellence. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with associates at all levels, implementing business solutions, and driving company change initiatives. The leader will also be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring associates while ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations and business initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission and values.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities selling firearms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
