About the position

The Intrusion Analyst role serves as the frontline in the identification and response to cyber security incidents, triaging security alerts and conducting initial investigations to determine appropriate response actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, and respond to cybersecurity threats
• Perform analysis to identify suspicious activities and behaviors
• Work with other stakeholders in Incident Management and other parts of the organization to minimize impact to normal business operations
• Create job related documentation and processes

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of, and/or experience in enterprise IT environments
• An understanding of relevant security industry trends, technologies, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's)
• A passion for learning and building from experience to develop tools that will inhibit threat actors and their methods

• Experience in cybersecurity within the past 5 years
• Experience with at least two of the following technologies: SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Antivirus, Web Proxies, Authentication, Cryptography, Unix/Windows server administration, and/or network administration
