About the position

As a Junior Buyer at Wren Kitchens, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process, focusing on cultivating and managing relationships with key suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize stock availability by purchasing the correct quantities based on forecasts, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in full. You will assist senior Buyers on various procurement projects, maintaining optimal stock levels and providing product expertise to assist with customer queries. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other departments to support key development projects and enhance service quality for our key customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of product information and upholding supplier KPIs, which are essential for the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and managing relationships with key suppliers
• Maximizing stock availability by purchasing correct quantities based on forecasts
• Assisting Buyers on procurement projects

Requirements

• Valid driver's license for occasional travel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for supplier relationships and internal collaboration
• Strong numerical and literacy abilities for handling financial data
