About the position

The USA Logistics Coordinator at La Marzocco USA plays a crucial role in the Logistics and Warehouse teams, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. This position is responsible for generating shipping documents, processing freight claims, and maintaining inventory management while providing excellent customer service. The coordinator will support the Warehouse and Logistics Team through various tasks, contributing to the overall operational success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and update computer systems including SAP and Shipstation.
• Create shipping documents, process internal return requests, and handle freight claims.
• Communicate daily shipping priorities and special cases with Logistics Team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist will-call customers with order pick-ups and provide excellent in-person customer service.
• Pick and stage items, ensuring shipping documents are accurate.
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load/unload incoming freight.
• Examine containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensure packing requirements are met.
• Help maintain a clean and safe warehouse and follow safety rules.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Best Practices, including forklift and pallet jack operation, Warehouse Management Systems, and Inventory counts and cycles.
• Ability to assess products for quality assurance.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to get tasks done efficiently and timely.
• Strong teamwork skills, ability to be flexible and switch tasks as needed.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with SAP or other Inventory/Invoicing software.
