As a Manager II, Process Engineer in Supply Chain, you will lead the implementation of Process Improvement tools and methodologies within a Distribution Center. Your primary focus will be on eliminating losses and enhancing efficiency through the application of techniques such as 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, and time and motion studies. You will be responsible for delivering expected results in your functional area by analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), eliminating losses, and creating standard work processes to reduce variation. Additionally, you will assist area managers in reviewing and responding to process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with the Network Process Structure and Performance System (WPS) programs. In this role, you will apply new network One Best Way playbooks and provide valuable input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams regarding project ideation and replication opportunities. You will lead savings projects within your area of responsibility, focusing on removing inefficiencies from processes. Your leadership will extend to promoting and supporting company policies, initiatives, and standards of ethics and integrity, while also assisting in the tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology. You will manage the execution of projects targeting top losses in your functional area and help build the capability of other area managers and associates. Your responsibilities will also include supporting area loss profile analysis and performance metrics, developing gap analyses to facilitate WPS integration, and collaborating with Department Managers on WPS programs, projects, and KPI improvements. You will coordinate job-related activities by fostering relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning and adaptability within your team. Furthermore, you will provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while implementing action plans that align with the company's mission and values.
