About the position

The Manager of Operations and Implementation will focus on enhancing operational excellence and compliance within Walmart's optical and teleoptometry services. This role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction and efficiency through strategic planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position involves leading a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality services and solutions, while continuously improving processes to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational excellence and compliance in optical and teleoptometry services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor and audit company operations to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and develop a team of opticians, optical technicians, and teleoptometry specialists, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Supply Chain, Communications, or related field and 1 year's experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area OR 3 years' experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area.
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing successful operational improvements and change management initiatives in retail or healthcare settings, focusing on optical and/or teleoptometry services.
  • Strong knowledge of optical and teleoptometry technologies, services, and industry trends, as well as familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns and trends, and use insights to drive informed decision-making and business outcomes.
