About the position

The Walmart Recruiting Events Manager is responsible for creating engaging events that attract diverse job candidates and promote Walmart as a top employer. This role involves planning, executing, and measuring both virtual and on-site events, while championing diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts. The manager will work closely with various partners to ensure events meet organizational goals and enhance Walmart's employer brand image.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute engaging recruitment events that attract diverse candidates.
• Champion diversity and inclusion in all recruiting efforts.
• Develop relationships with partners, organizers, and vendors to assess event options and meet goals.
• Plan team member meetings and communications related to events.
• Curate Walmart's employer brand image at events, including booth design and content customization.
• Lead the development of creative marketing and social media advertising for events.
• Organize travel logistics and negotiate vendor contracts for events.
• Manage event budgets, including documentation and reimbursements.
• Collect and analyze data to improve future events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Communications, or related field and 2 years' experience in communications, project management, event management, or relevant area OR 4 years' experience in communications, project management, event management, or relevant area.
• 1 year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
