About the position

The position involves ensuring the maintenance of the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures, providing excellent member service, and assisting with the training of associates. The role focuses on handling returns, organizing merchandise, and promoting Sam's Club products and services while ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area of responsibility by handling returns, zoning, arranging, and organizing merchandise.
• Provide member service by maintaining exit areas and reviewing member receipts.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Manage the self-checkout area, resolving member issues and promoting products.
• Process member purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
• Secure and safeguard company assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity.
• Assist in training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and new technology.
• Implement company policies and standards of ethics and integrity in business practices.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, identifying priorities, and adapting to change.

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register)
• Experience working with mobile retail applications
