About the position

The position involves assisting management in supervising associates within a designated area, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing excellent member service. The role includes training associates, managing membership processes, and overseeing the operational aspects of the assigned area to enhance member satisfaction and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management with the supervision of associates by assigning duties and providing feedback.
  • Train associates on processes and procedures related to member service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Open Door Policy and participate in recruiting and hiring associates.
  • Communicate membership information and process memberships and upgrades.
  • Encourage membership renewals and participate in sales and marketing events.
  • Provide member service by assisting with purchasing decisions and transactions.
  • Oversee assigned area by managing claims, returns, and merchandise organization.
  • Complete accounting records and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Develop and implement processes to meet business needs in collaboration with managers and co-workers.
  • Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics.
  • Lead and participate in teams to achieve business priorities.

Requirements

  • 6 months of retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading a front-end team.
  • Supervisory experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workloads.
