About the position

The position involves providing exceptional member service at Sam's Club, assisting members with their needs, and supervising associates in the assigned area. The role includes responsibilities such as managing merchandise, ensuring compliance with safety and company policies, and maintaining the sales floor. Responsibilities

  • Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and offering guidance on self-service technology.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing training on processes and procedures.
  • Maintain safety in the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following hazardous material handling procedures.
  • Organize and maintain the sales floor, including stocking and arranging merchandise and handling claims and returns.
  • Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation and sanitation standards are met.
  • Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders throughout the day.
  • Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and analyzing information.
  • Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments and ensure quality and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months of retail experience.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
