About the position

The position focuses on enhancing data and digital literacy within the organization, ensuring data quality, and leveraging technology to improve processes. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to address complex business issues, develop business cases, and implement environmental policies while ensuring compliance with regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for operational excellence, asset protection, and employee health and safety, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies problems and applies data to find solutions.
  • Participates in the feedback loop between data intake and insights to improve data-collection processes.
  • Ensures data quality and organizes information for analysis.
  • Creates dashboards for stakeholders using visualization techniques and tools.
  • Proposes ways to automate and improve existing processes with technology.
  • Documents business requirements for new technology solutions.
  • Develops, tests, and integrates prototypes for technology-enabled solutions.
  • Provides recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex issues.
  • Develops business cases for projects with projected returns on investment.
  • Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports for management review.
  • Implements environmental policies and practices to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Explains operational functions and key roles of assigned department.
  • Conducts investigations and recognizes security breaches or thefts.
  • Engages with team members and establishes credibility with stakeholders.
  • Communicates effectively to influence team members and clients.
  • Coordinates with emergency responders during emergencies and evaluates facility environments against safety guidelines.
  • Defines critical workflows for executing key processes and identifies process problems.
  • Participates in delivering training content and educates contractors on relevant laws.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field, AND 1 year of experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing.
  • 3 years' experience in Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 or More Certifications such as Loss Prevention Certification (LPC), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or related certifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
